When we first bought our pup, Turkish, I took about a million pictures of him. I didn't have any kiddos to document, and so the dog took the brunt of my fairly limited camera experience back then. I'm not super thrilled with all things canine right now, but I do love my smelly, chubby little Blue Heeler. At 6 1/2 years old it's anyone's guess how much longer he'll be a part of our family.

Interestingly enough, the little doesn't seem at all afraid of our Turk. She told me today in the car that he will protect her from spiders, mean people and other things that scare her. I hope he sticks around for a while.
